Between The Lines

Sheinside Top // H&M Skirt // AMI Club Wear Shoes

I'd like to start today with a quote from Elder Callister..

"We must not let ourselves go and become so casual—even sloppy—in our appearance that we distance ourselves from the beauty heaven has given us."

Recently I've run across articles talking about fashion bloggers... how they are shallow and superficial. I was so hurt by the words of what people were saying about fashion bloggers because I know many bloggers that are so creative and some of the most down to earth people I know.

The reason why I even started blogging was because I wanted to share my style to friends and strangers that are looking for inspiration. NOT to brag about the cute purse I just bought or to show the world all the clothes that I own. I'm not asking girls to go out and buy the clothes I'm wearing but I wish for them to use the clothes they already have in their wardrobe and experiment with fashion.

If you aren't really into fashion you might be asking, WHY? Why do you care so much about what you wear? Why is fashion a big deal for you? Well, here are my reasons.

- Life's too short to blend in. I don't want to settle for average.
- Fashion is a method of self expression.
-Cute clothes are even a great conversation starter! Wear something fabulous and people will ask where you got it!
-It's a test of your self confidence. Dressing different forces you to develop the self assurance necessary to stand out from the crowd.
- Fashion is one of the rare instances where art comes alive.
-Because nothing beats the rush you feel when you look in the mirror and LOVE what you see.
- Because you deserve to look your best at all times.
