Look For Less

First of all, I am so sorry I haven't posted in a while. That is if people actually read this blog. If not then I guess its fine if I don't post as often. I was recently at Target (not a surprise) and I came across these sandals that looked like the ones from Steve Madden. Steve Madden sells similar types of shoes for oh, I don't know, say FREAKIN $60.00 to $90.00!!!

This is DONDDI and it costs $59.99!

This is WIILDD and it costs $89.95!

But I absolutely love these shoes from Target because

1. I have wide feet and they fit perfectly and aren't tight at all
2. They were on CLEARANCE. So I only paid literally $15.39 for these. SAY WHAT?!
3. They are just absolutely adorable and match with EVERYTHING.
4. I just saved $70.00 compared to Steve Madden Shoes.

If you have wide feet I would definitely recommend these shoes or at least just check out Target's shoes because they always have great deals.

Be on a lookout for future outfit posts with these shoes! & Let me know if you want me to do more Look for Less posts!

Look Good, Feel Good

I made this blog hoping that it would inspire many of you to dress modestly while still being trendy. But today I wanted to make a blog post about healthy eating because I've decided to start eating healthier. Its been really hard but I know I can do it and so can you. (I still sneak some cookies and sweets every once in a while ;) Here is a list of delicious fruits and vegetables that I have been loving lately and also how it helps the body.

1. Mangos

  • Cools down the body and prevents harm to the body
  • Have great amounts of vitamin C and vitamin A which keeps your immune system healthy and strong
  • Clears clogged pores and eliminates pimples
  • Promotes good eye sight and prevents dry eyes
  • Prevents cancer

2. Kiwi

  • Helps digest your meals
  • Helps manage blood pressure
  • Boost immune system
  • Smart carb for weight loss
  • Helps clean out toxins

3. Strawberries

  • Boosts short termed memory
  • Lowers blood levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), a signal of inflammation in the body
  • Lowers the risks of heart disease
  • Promotes bone health
  • Helps build stronger hair and nails and also prevents skin from sagging
  • Good for weight loss

4. Bananas

  • Prevents muscle cramps before a workout
  • Lower body temperature on a hot day
  • Improve mood and lower PMS symptoms
  • Contains high levels of vitamin B which speeds recovery from the effects of withdrawal
  • Helps you avoid binging between meals

Sometimes I make a fruit salad and put all the fruits together or mix and match and make a fruit smoothy with frozen fruit.

5. Carrots

  • Improves vision
  • Vitamin A and antioxidants protects the skin from sun damage
  • Flushes out the toxins from the body
  • When chewing, carrots clean your teeth and mouth by scraping off plaque and food particles

6. Sugar Snap Peas

  • Fibers will keep you full and reduces the temptation to snack between meals
  • Improves bone health, heart health and immune system

7. Cherry Tomatoes

  • Improves overall skin texture
  • Helps with sleep, mood and appetite
  • Strengthens immune system
  • Helps your heart beat at a regular pace

8. Bell Peppers

  • Keeps the skin and hair youthful
  • Helps prevent certain cancers
  • Protects the heart from cardiovascular disease
  • Supports tissue health and immunity

I usually eat the vegetables with spinach dip.
