Look Good, Feel Good

I made this blog hoping that it would inspire many of you to dress modestly while still being trendy. But today I wanted to make a blog post about healthy eating because I've decided to start eating healthier. Its been really hard but I know I can do it and so can you. (I still sneak some cookies and sweets every once in a while ;) Here is a list of delicious fruits and vegetables that I have been loving lately and also how it helps the body.

1. Mangos

  • Cools down the body and prevents harm to the body
  • Have great amounts of vitamin C and vitamin A which keeps your immune system healthy and strong
  • Clears clogged pores and eliminates pimples
  • Promotes good eye sight and prevents dry eyes
  • Prevents cancer

2. Kiwi

  • Helps digest your meals
  • Helps manage blood pressure
  • Boost immune system
  • Smart carb for weight loss
  • Helps clean out toxins

3. Strawberries

  • Helps build stronger hair and nails and also prevents skin from sagging
  • Good for weight loss

4. Bananas

  • Prevents muscle cramps before a workout
  • Lower body temperature on a hot day
  • Improve mood and lower PMS symptoms
  • Contains high levels of vitamin B which speeds recovery from the effects of withdrawal
  • Helps you avoid binging between meals

Sometimes I make a fruit salad and put all the fruits together or mix and match and make a fruit smoothy with frozen fruit.

5. Carrots

  • Improves vision
  • Vitamin A and antioxidants protects the skin from sun damage
  • Flushes out the toxins from the body
  • When chewing, carrots clean your teeth and mouth by scraping off plaque and food particles
